PREMISE

Soon after being forced into the Spanish Inquisition's army, Niccolo, an Italian peasant, is taken as a war captive by an eccentric, impossibly skilled, and strangely alluring native Nahua soldier, Opochtli. Nicco and Opo wrestle with their pasts and differences as they quest to slay the invading Spaniards, confronting fantastic creatures, unlikely allies, and barely-contained trauma along the way.

CHARACTERS

Opo | A strange little man whom some might call "feral." After prowling the country alone for a decade on his unending hunt for Spaniards, Opo learns to put up with his new foreign companion while his façade of humanity tears at the seams.

Nicco | A tall, easy-going Italian that prefers talking things out. Tries his best to learn from others, about others, but finds trouble breaking out of the medieval European mindset. Bursting with daddy issues
